IN-PERSON CLASSES
In-person classes in the United States are hosted by Rational Acoustics and currently consists of two course offerings: Smaart Operator: Fundamentals and Smaart Operator: Advanced.
Because we have transitioned much of our introductory fundamentals training materials to an online format and offer online trainings throughout the year, the in-person Smaart Operator: Fundamentals class will be offered on a limited basis.
IN-PERSON CLASS FORMATS

SMAART OPERATOR: FUNDAMENTALS
Length of Class: 2 Days (8 hours each)

The Smaart Operator: Fundamentals class covers the
fundamentals of setting up and configuring a Smaart measurement rig, taking Spectrum and Transfer Function measurements, and learning to control and manipulate the display of measurement data within Smaart.
This course begins with an overview of general measurement
theory involved as well as the operational context in which Smaart is used, focusing on providing the attendee with a functional knowledge of how Smaart operates as a tool to make valid, actionable and repeatable measurements. -
SMAART OPERATOR: ADVANCED
Length of Class: 2 Days (8 hours each)

The Smaart Operator: Advanced class builds upon the Smaart
Operator: Fundamentals course, taking a deep dive into various topics and applications elements for utilizing Smaart in the field. Attendees can expect an immersive hands-on experience using Smaart through various exercises designed to emulate
real-world alignment and optimization tasks.
Attendance for the Smaart Operator: Advanced class is limited to16 attendees and all attendees must meet the Level 2 prerequisites outlined below.

LEVEL 1 CLASS PREREQUISITES
The Smaart Operator: Fundamentals in-person class is open to all interested persons. Prior system measurement & alignment experience is helpful, but not required.
This course does assume a basic knowledge of sound system fundamentals and professional audio engineering practices. -
