Rational Participation in AES Panels

October 27, 2010

Our own Jamie Anderson will be participating in 2 panel discusssion at the upcoming AES Show in San Francisco.

The first panel is "Measurement Systems and Applications" on Friday, November 5th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  This discussion will center around the most popular measurement systems available to align sound systems in the field.  The session will be chaired by John Murray with panelists Ralph Heinz, Bruce Olson and, of course… Jamie.  This will be a great opportunity to get yourself acquainted with the latest system optimization software, methods & practices directly from the minds behind the madness.

On Saturday, November 6th Jamie will be participating in the "Fill Speakers in Live Sound Reinforcement" panel from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.  This panel examines the role, requirements & special issues surrounding these essential, but often overlooked, components of live sound systems.  Other panelists include Ales Davinec, Ted Leamy and Dave Rat and the panel will be chaired by Tom Young.

Also, as a side note…. directly after the "Measurement Systems and Applciations" panel on Friday at 1:15  is Dave Rat’s Lunctime Keynote Address.. which is sure to be an interesting romp from one of the most notable personalities in our industry.

In order to attend the panel discussions you will need a "Full Program" badge or you will need to purchase single session tickets for the panels onsite at the show.  The lunchtime keynote address is open to all attendees.
