A Sad Goodbye to Chris the Intern

September 1, 2010

Over the past 2 months we’ve been fortunate to have Chris-The-Intern working for us, but now he’s all grown up and heading out into the big wide world.

Chris-The-Intern (otherwise known a Chris Tsanjoures) is a local Putnam-ite who we were lucky enough to run into through mutual acquaintances a couple of months ago.  He’s a recent graduate of the Hartt School of Music with a degree in Music Production and Technology and also works for a local Massachussets Chirs_the_Intern3.jpgsound company as a sound engineer.

He’s been with us all summer long doing a variety of intern-esque things like testing software, proofreading help files, researching interfaces and of course sticking labels on things, breaking down cardboard boxes and killing spiders in the office.  We sometimes make him eat stuff out of the fridge to see if it’s gone bad too.

But alas… we won’t have Chris to kick around any more, since he also happens to be a heck of a guitarist and is now heading out on tour with a Denver-based melodic metalcore band called "It Prevails".  Apparently they are pretty well known…although none of us have ever heard of them.  But thenChris_the_Intern2.jpg again we listen to the Jackson 5 in the office so who are we to talk.   You can check out the band at http://www.myspace.com/itprevails  and see their tour schedule.  If you get a chance, go check them out live and support Chris in his new rock ‘n roll career.

So goodbye Chris.  Thanks for all the hard work.  Please don’t develop a raging herion addiction out on the road and remember to change your underwear at least once.  And when you are ready to give up the dream of sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll and come sit behind a desk all day.. we’ll be here for ya.
