Mr. Arthur Skudra has over 20 years experience in designing technical media systems, including acoustics, sound, lighting, and video systems, for very large auditoriums, theatres, stadiums, and contemporary churches throughout North America. He has also served as a technical director, supervising and providing technical staffing for productions, radio and television production coordination, dramatic musical production coordination, volunteer training, for a church of over 5,000 people. He is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer, having conducted numerous training workshops throughout North America and Asia, and completed graduate degrees in education and communication, and has a strong background in music before making a career of professional audio. He works out of his Hamilton, Canada office as a audiovisual consultant, and dreams of smooth magnitude response curves in his sleep.
Mr. Skudra has extensive experience coordinating Technical Media in very large auditorium settings, including sound, lighting, and video presentation/broadcast systems. In the 25+ years of work in the audio-visual field, he has designed and implemented innovative medium and large-scale sound reinforcement systems, theatrical lighting, and video broadcast production and large screen projection systems that met specific client’s needs and budgets. He has supervised and provided technical staffing for church services, radio & television production coordination, dramatic musical production coordination, volunteer training, and related activities. At Omega Consultants, he was a staff consultant designing sound, lighting and video systems for large church auditoriums from 1,000 seats to 10,000 seats. In Grand Rapids First Assembly he implemented the training and coordination of a technical staff consisting of over 40 volunteers for a 5,000 seat church. In Toronto, his technical involvement included audio technical coordination for a national Television ministry and freelance audio engineering for secular television networks. He is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer, having conducted numerous training workshops throughout North America and Asia, and has written several articles for international trade publications.
While studying at Regent University, Arthur developed a Master’s degree thesis of a curriculum to be used in the training of church sound volunteers, he also conducted research in international media campaigns in third world countries, and worked in television production.
