When you need to clamp mount to objects larger than our Spring Clamp kit can accommodate, or just want the extra security of a screw clamp, the Manfrotto Quick Release clamp is just what the doctor ordered. This clamp features a rubber cushioned jaw with a V-channel that allows it to clamp securely to pipes or tubes as well as rectangular objects up to 3.14" (8 cm) in thickness/diameter. The mounting post can be extended up to 4.8 inches from the body of the clamp, providing even greater flexibility in positioning your mic. A patented quick release mechanism make setting and removing a breeze.

We supply a 3/8"-16 to 5/8"-27 TPI thread adapter with this clamp that accepts any standard American style microphone clip. European style 3/8" mic clips can be attached directly to the mounting post with no adapter required. Manfrotto also includes a 1/4" male to 3/8" female thread adapter that you might be able to trade for something good if you know someone who's into photography.
