LIke it's predecessor, the NEW Rational Acoustics branded RTA-420 is a great little budget-friendly measurement mic with an impressively flat response curve for its price. The RTA-420 features heavy-gauge steel construction and measurement performance to rival high-end microphones costing many times more. Makes a great starter mic, spare or "B" rig mic and goes places you would be nervous to take your high-end, lab quality mic. The RTA-420 makes multi-microphone measurements affordable for the rest of us.

The new Rational RTA-420 comes with a mic clip and a spiffy new bright yellow windscreen, which is great for spotting your mic in dark venues. And, it includes a custom-designed soft-sided carrying case that accommodates and organizes 2 microphones plus their accessories.

The NEW Rational Acoustics branded RTA-420 is a 1/4 inch back electret condenser microphone ideal for measurement systems on a budget. Whether you're a student or just starting out in the business, or an established pro looking for a backup mic for your kit, putting together a "B" rig or you want to be able to put up multiple mic's in large venues without taking out a second mortgage, the RTA-420 offers very respectable frequency response and solid, road-worthy construction at an exceptionally affordable price.

Please Note: The RTA-420 may be powered by 9 to 52 V phantom supplies, and like it's predecessor it is PIN 3 HOT.
