The FIRESTUDIO™ Project a complete 24-bit / 96 kHz professional recording system, combining eight Class-A XMAX Class A microphone preamplifiers, 24-bit / 96 kHz sample rate support, a zero-latency matrix router mixer, and Steinberg's Cubase LE 4 48-track recording software. It offers very high quality D/A converters with 114 dB dynamic range and ultra-wide 10 Hz to 50 kHz frequency response. Three-segment LED input metering is available on all analog channels. The FIRESTUDIO Project is designed for flexibility and ultra-high sonic performance and is perfect for professional studio recording, live sound recording, performance, podcasting and more.

Product Description
The FIRESTUDIO™ Project is loaded with the new ultra powerful DICE II FireWire chipset delivering 10 channels of simultaneous inputs and outputs at professional-quality 24-bit / 96 kHz. The strength of the DICE II chip lies with its ability to easily handle high channel count at high bit-rate while minimizing latency and load on your computer. The synchronization of the FIRESTUDIO Project is handled by patented JetPLL™ jitter reduction technology. JetPLL™ incorporates noise shaping to virtually remove all audio band jitter. JetPLL™ ensures the highest converter performance possible, resulting in better stereo separation and clearer more transparent audio. JetPLL™ delivers ultra-fast locking to any digital format, through a wide range of frequencies and is extremely robust, and tolerant of wide variations in clock frequencies. JetPLL™ ensures near perfect clock performance when networking audio devices thus creating the most stable and robust synchronization to the computer and all devices synchronization with the FIRESTUDIO Project.
Eight custom designed PreSonus XMAX microphone preamplifiers are on the front panel for quickly and easily connecting your favorite microphones and instruments. 48 V phantom power is available in groups of two via front panel push button switches. The FIRESTUDIO Project also includes a high quality stereo headphone output with volume adjustment on the front panel. Two additional balanced TRS line inputs are located on the rear of the FIRESTUDIO Project along with ten balanced TRS line outputs, two channels of S/PDIF input/output, and MIDI input/output. FireControl software, an 18x10 DSP mixer/router, is also included for further flexibility and power. The 19 inch wide, 1U high metal chassis easily mounts in any standard equipment rack. The FIRESTUDIO Project works with both 4- and 6-pin FireWire (IEEE 1394) connectors* and is powered by a 90 to 230 VAC, 20 W supply via an included IEC cable.
