    Another tip for *new* users of the Octacapture:

    When you plug the interface into your computer for the very first time, there may be a difference in sample rates between the two, which causes the interface not to respond to any settings you make in the software control panel, it just sits there doing nothing, passing no audio through to your computer. The easy and quick fix is to figure out what your sample rate is set to in your computer's audio control panel settings, then go to the Octa-Capture's front panel controls and set it to the same sample rate. Power down the interface, then start it up again, and now the computer finally recognizes the interface! After this initial setup sequence, you are able to change sample rates in the software control panel from that point onwards.
