They need to offer them in matched groups of 8 to go with the 8 channel measurement preamp that Rational is SURELY making for me as I type this. :)

Langston, obviously you are a glutton for punishment. We're still waiting for our belated X-mas present and now you want to wait for a RA branded I/O device? You must have monk-like patience (or be heavily medicated.)

Apparently Audix is selling the TM1s in matched quad sets. I will take one of those as soon as they become available. That, and a well protected humidor to carry them.

RA, let us know as soon as you get them.

So has anyone had the opportunity to try the TM-1s out yet? Any comments on their build quality or mic-to-mic consistency? I need to pull the trigger here soon.

    Hey Jens,

We've actually sold out of our first batch of TM1s but should have more in about a month. The mics that are being shipped to us are selected from the run based on how flat they are. They also include a calibration file that you will soon be able to use with v7.

    Jens,
Did you buy any mic's yet??? Any way let me know there are a lot that are in the market for buying multiple mic's maybe we can get a discount. Just seems stupid that everyone buys one mic each if a good deal can be made buying 30 at a time.
Also did anyone try the audix?? how do they meassure and hold up??

I have a set of 6 here. I'll try to do a somewhat precise mic compare when I get a chance.

    Default Uploading Smaart Traces

    Hello,

Is there away for me to post SMAART 7 Ref. Trace Files on the forum, or do I need to turn them into some other file format? I just thought it would be nice for us to be able to share the actual trace files.

    Hi Matt,

Yes you can attach legacy .ref & .rgp files as well as v7 .srf and .trf files.

    Default TM1 Traces

    Hello All

Here are some traces of (3) TM-1's in front of a EAW JF200. I did this really quickly when I got these (3) in. I have to say that these (3) were closer together than the (4) Earthworks M30's I have! I bought a fourth and then compared it to these, again really close. I have already sold over 10 of these. Incredible performance/value!
