    Default Focusrite Saffire PRO 40

    Hey All,
Just wanted to report i had a good session setting up, a friends Focusrite Saffire PRO 40 interface, with a MBP 15", today. Seem like a good solid unit, very easy to configure and capable to do a lot more than "just" for measurements. Here its priced roughly (xxx ignore this price!!!!, only makes sence to Chris comment above about 135 euros/ 160 dollars, xxxxxxx) cheaper than the Roland octapre and the Motu mk3 travler, so fare a good contender for a 8 mic pre's Firewire interface.
Anyone else got to use it??

    mvh
    Rasmus

It looks pretty awesome on paper, I would love to check one out. I like the internal loop back feature, and also very robust I/O. If you can get your hands on one for 160 USD, let me know! I can't find one for less than 400....perhaps I have a friend there too....

    Hey Chris,
I will ask about that price again, think thats a calculation error as I can only find it online for that price you mentioned. But my friend does have good contacts Any way i do remember checking at a online store that it was cheaper than the others mentioned.

    Hey Chris, et all.
I have checked the price and that was what my friend bought a demo unit for so "one of a kind of deal". I have edited the original post not to miss lead any one. Its priced slightly lower that the Motu mk3 and Roland Octapre depending on dealer.
