Glad you were able to come to the class! Nope, you can only use one interface only for transfer function measurements, regardless of whether you're using the internal generator or an external one. The only exception if you are using the Smaart I/O box, which has a means to synchronize the clocks through an external bus. Maybe eventually the programmers will figure out a way around this limitation.

Hi Arthur,
I recently attended your Montreal class and enjoyed it immensely. I've been searching for information on an issue I'm trying to solve, perhaps you might shed some light if you had a minute. I have an RME Babyface and a USBPre...I'm going to get a an octa-capture but need to get thru one more gig and was wondering if I can use the two dis-similar devices for group measurements. (as two mic's on the babyface and two on the USBPre.) I've seen the warning regarding measurements sources and reference coming from the same device, but does is this the case when using the internal noise routing on 7? Is there any way to pull off what I'm asking without a phase discrepancy? Thanks for any help!

Just curious about your use with the roland octa-capture. I'm checking one out and haven't been able to see it in Smaart7.

arthur, I 've been mada aware of a smaart training class in montreal next week and the registration info suggests all those registered should have a copy of smaart 7!!?? is it out????
