What is error : 509? This showed up on my desktop when I started V7. It says to please contact customer support.:(

Perhaps you can help us with some more info? What hardware are you using? What operating system? Did you download the latest (v.7.0.5) version? Did it work before?

What OS are you on? Do you have administrator privileges? This error code means you don't have read/write permissions to various locations. These locations vary based on OS so until we know what OS you are on I can't direct you to the correct location.

I'm running Smaart version 7.0.5.1, on a laptop running Vista Service Pack 2 64bit OS, I am the administrator on this laptop, and have an M-Audio Fast Track Pro as the sound card for Smaart. V7 seems to have worked fine before. This just showed up for the first time the other day. Started it up this morning and now it seems to be fine.

Strange. Sounds like there was a blip with the account permissions. If you'd rebooted between it working and not, that is likely the case.

For what it's worth, unpon rebooting, I had o start fro scratch as far as the group manager; had to re-create both the spectrum and transfer function groups.
