I am evaluating Smaart7. How does one pause the spectrograph display without losing what is currently on the screen?

While having focus on the spectrograph window, ie left click, press the down arrow key.

Hey Joseph,

There are two things at play here. Firstly if the measurement that is driving the spectrograph is paused, the display is paused. Keep in mind that pausing a measurement also auto hides the trace.

As FILO said you can also stop the spectrograph from scrolling by scrolling manually. Essentially the spectrograph displays time zero to how ever many slices fit on screen. If the number of slices in the history exceeds the number of slices on screen you can scroll vertically through the history. This acts as a pause but eventually the history will start to be pushed out the back end and the screen will start to update again. So it's not a true pause, but does serve well to take a look at some data without stopping the measurement.
