I stated in an earlier post about delay built into a Meyer B2a Processor of 11.2 ms that was contrived from the delay locator in Smaart. As it turns out the delay from a BSS FDS-366 processor is almost the same, but fluctuates +/- .20 ms or so.

Is the delay just a product of the Low Freq, Pass Band? When you run the same output with no pass filter (full range) the IR shows a delay of 1.69 ms.

Is the 1.69 ms a good indication of true latency for the BSS 366?

And Happy Holidays to you all as well.

If you are looking at a low pass then I'd say it is safe to say you are right. I think we missed that in the other thread. Sounds like you are looking at the low pass output. I don't have a DSP here so I can't contribute much in the way of graphics to explain this. Perhaps Arthur or Paul could slap something together.
